Curls Connection: Textured & Seen

A morning that brings our community together to understand textured hair, through practical education, honest conversation, and live styling demonstrations.

For people with tightly textured hair, and the parents and carers who want to understand it better. Young people aged 10 and over are welcome where the content is relevant to their own hair. This is a community morning, not stylist training.

About the events

Two rooms, one throughline

Curls Connection brings the community together. Curl Identity Education does the same for stylists. Both come back to the same thing, making curls make sense.

Community events are open mornings for people with curly and textured hair, and the parents and carers supporting them. No jargon, no pressure, just clear answers and live demonstrations you can take home.

Stylist events are hands-on workshop days. Simple foundations, clear language, and techniques you can use in the chair the next morning.
